I didn’t really intend to lose weight. Although I did try to lose weight in the past, I didn’t have as much resolve to do it then. Although I was definitely more desperate to lose weight back then, I didn’t have the power to say “NO” to food then.
Today, the newfound resolve to lose weight was a serendipitous thing: I was thinking about substituting my meals with Herbalife simply because it was starting to be apparent to me that it was costing me too much time to eat; as well as I was getting fatter by the day. I’m a Virtual Assistant by trade, so time is of the essence in my life. While I’d love to still have a life outside of work, I needed to maximize “the flow.” There are days when it’s just so hard to catch that desire to actually work that when I do have that drive and energy, it’s tough to have it interrupted just because of the need to grab grub. I don’t have a refrigerator yet, so it’s definitely still tough to get hungry in the middle of the night. So I thought about trying Herbalife once more. I’ve tried Herbalife back in my college years, and while it was grainy and weird to drink, I’d have to admit that it seemed pretty convenient to actually just have a drink/shake instead of full meals.
